Frequently Asked Questions
If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to contact me, that's what I'm here for!
WHY DO WE SET GOALS?
Goals are magical! Goals give you something to strive for, hold you accountable, and allow you to track your progress. Plus, goals allow me to tailor YOUR workouts to YOU, so you know you are not getting the same workout as anyone else.
DO I HAVE TO SET GOALS?
YES! I don't believe in working out for the sake of it. There needs to be a reason you want to work out. So, what is it? A great goal can be anything. It can be to lose a few pounds, to lift a certain amount of weight, do a certain number of reps for an exercise, run a distance, a combo of any of those, or whatever else you can dream up.
CAN I JUST BOOK INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS AND NOT START A FULL PLAN?
Yup! I don't recommend it, but this is all about YOU and I am here for you. But FYI, we will still talk goals. For pricing, shoot me an email.
WHAT SHOULD I CHOOSE FOR MY REWARD?
This is YOUR journey, not mine, so I can't tell you what will motivate you. I recommend a special item(s) of clothing because how you FEEL in clothes changes as you SEE your body change. Seeing success makes it more real and allows you to appreciate how far you have come and celebrate accordingly. But if something else will motivate you more, let's make it happen!
DO YOU DO ONLINE TRAINING?
If you'd like to do some online training and don't live in the GTA, we can definitely work something out. Shoot me an email or give me a call to learn more.
DO YOU CHARGE EXTRA FOR NUTRITIONAL GUIDANCE AND A DIET PLAN?
Nope. However, I don't create full nutritional plans, because I believe they set you up for failure, trust me, I've tried following one, it didn't go well. Instead, I will give you strategies for eating well, help you find healthy food you like, and brainstorm meal ideas as a part of your plan.
WHAT TYPES OF HOME FITNESS EQUIPMENT DO YOU RECOMMEND?
You should definitely have a mat, but beyond that you don't NEED anything. However, if you are looking for variety in your workouts you can never go wrong with a few sets of kettle bells or dumbbells in varying weights. Weight is the key to building muscle and building a lean, toned body. To add more spice to your workouts and get more bang for your buck, you can invest in a set of gliders, Swiss ball, Lebert bar, or a TRX.
