Hey friends, welcome to my website, I'm so happy you found your way here! Let me tell you a bit about my journey, so you can get to know me better.

When I was younger, I always had the desire to be fit, but lacked the know-how and the drive. I was not at my goal body-type my entire youth. It wasn't until I was living in London, England as a journalism exchange student, that everything changed. I was living next to the university gym and across the street from a beautiful grocery store, so I knew I had no excuse but to change my life. I started taking fitness classes and fell in love. I had always done martial arts, but in kickboxing, I found my groove. I lost quite a bit of weight, and kept it off when I came home by finding a trainer and studio I loved, as well as cooking for myself.

I loved journalism, but I didn't love working in the industry. Sitting at a desk wasn't for me. I then took the Masters of Teaching program at U of T, but when I got out into the world, I wasn't as in love with the profession as I was in school.

So, I started fitness classes teaching about 4 years ago after one fateful a boxing class. I was paired with the instructor and while he was holding pads for me, I punched him so hard, I broke his watch. He asked me to teach for him and the rest, they say, is history.

They say what you do in your spare time is what you should do for the rest of your life, so I decided to make working out my passion and profession. I've explored the possibilities by taking jobs at different studios, venturing off into personal training, teaching spin, and working with athletes.
